The Miami Football Club announced today the addition of Brazilian defender Gustavo Rissi on loan from Indy Eleven while also sending Callum Chapman-Page on loan to Indy Eleven for the remainder of the season.
Born in Araras, Brazil, Gustavo played for Austin Bold FC during the 2019 USL Championship, on loan from Cruzeiro. He continued at Austin for the following three seasons until making the move to MLS Next Pro with Rochester New York FC, where he had 13 appearances. Prior to the 2023 season, Rissi signed with Indy Eleven and has seen action in 13 matches this year.
Miami FC has 14 matches remaining this season starting with this weekend’s matchup against San Antonio as it fights to secure a playoff spot for the third consecutive year.
