Introducing the USL Academy Talent ID Center by Miami FC: A Premier Identification Program for the Top Talents in South Florida.
The Talent ID Center by Miami FC is an invitation-only program dedicated to identifying and cultivate pre-professional talent in South Florida. The objective of the TIC is to find and incorporate high potential players into Miami FC’s organization. The initiative is a supplemental training program that prioritizes elite players by supporting their development in a professional club environment.
Players born between 2011-2013 will be eligible for the program, set to take place each Wednesday beginning in March, 2025. Players who excel in the program will be invited to participate in the prestigious USL Pathway cup, at the end of April.
Talent ID Program Features:
Professional Coaching & Elite Development: The USL Academy Talent ID Center boasts a staff that comprises experienced, respected, and licensed coaches who create a professional environment to challenge elite players.
Talent Identification and Integration: MFC staff will closely monitor and log each player’s qualities, progress, and character, giving MFC an in depth look at the next prospective players in a highly competitive environment. Players who excel in this environment have a clear pathway for to be considered for the Miami FC organization.
National Competition(s): Individuals who thrive in this environment may be considered to partake in high-level competitions with Miami FC; such as USL Academy League, USL Academy Cup, and amongst other prestigious events. This stage allows players to showcase their abilities against other professional academies.
Exposure: This program will have unique opportunities for players, connecting them with industry professionals, college scouts, and coaches. Players who are selected to attend competitions will be exposed to professional, national team, and college scouts through MFC’s network. These connections can open doors to further advancement in the soccer world.
Pathway to Professional Soccer: The ultimate objective of the USL Academy Talent ID Center by Miami FC is to offer a pathway to professional soccer through the academy level. Exceptional talents may have the opportunity to be evaluated with Miami FC’s U20s team, which notably, recently promoted the first-ever local academy player to the first team.
